SAN SALVADOR REPLICA IN MORRO BAY

Morro Bay kicks off the twelve-day visit on Thursday, September 29 with an escorted greeting – a bay and ocean sail coordinated by members of the Morro Bay Yacht Club, including tule boats newly crafted by the Salinan Tribe of Monterey and San Luis Obispo Counties. The San Salvador will then open for public tours and special events September 30 through October 9 at Morro Bay’s South T-Pier from 10 am – 6 pm daily, across the street from the newly established Maritime Museum of Morro Bay, 1210 Embarcadero. Ticket prices are $7 per adult and $5 per child. The Maritime Museum will be open Saturdays and Sundays during the San Salvador visit on October 1, 2, 8 and 9 from 10 am – 6 pm.
